C/2020 K2 PanSTARRS
more info
Comet C/2020 K2 was discovered on 21 May 2020, about 2.5 months before its perihelion passage and was observed to 28 June 2021.
Solutions given here are based on data span over 1.10 yr in a range of heliocentric distances: 8.89 au – 8.88 au (perihelion) – 9.08 au.
This comet entered the planetary zone having original semimajor axis of about 8,000 au and suffers small planetary perturbations during its passage through the planetary system that lead to a bit tight future orbit (semimajor axis of about 5,000 au).
