C/2022 O1 ATLAS
more info
Comet C/2022 O1 was discovered on 26 July 2022 by ATLAS South Africa (Sutherland), that is about 5.5 months after its perihelion passage.

Comet had its closest approach to the Earth on 3 July 2021 (7.20nbsp;au), about 7.5 months before its perihelion passage. however, on the post-perihelion leg of orbit it had approach to Earth within 7.22 au (13 September 2022).

Thus, the GR solution given here is based on post-perihelion data span over 1.39 yr in a range of heliocentric distances from 7.50 au to 8.52 au.

This long-period comet (semimajor axis of about 7,000 au) suffers small planetary perturbations during its passage through the planetary system that lead to a more loose future orbit with semimajor axis of about 12,100 au.
