C/2021 G3 PanSTARRS
more info
Comet C/2021 G3 was discovered on 1 April 2021 with the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope (Haleakala), that is seven months before its perihelion passage.

Comet had its closest approach to the Earth on 5 February 2022 (4.36 au), about 3.5 months after its perihelion passage.

GR solution given here is based on data span over 1.79 yr in a range of heliocentric distances: 5.52 au – 5.18 au (perihelion) – 5.99 au.

This Oort spike comet suffers almost negligible planetary perturbations during its passage through the planetary system; and its future orbit have semimajor axis still longer than 10,000 au.
